For Alma, the stage has always felt like home, and at Sherborne Girls, that love of performance has already found a place to flourish. Now in M5 and at the beginning of her Sherborne journey, she has already stepped confidently into the spotlight as Narrator in Daisy Pulls It Off, where her poise, timing, and flair for storytelling captivated many sold out audiences.

Her years before SG laid the foundation for this passion. At Sherborne Prep, she brought characters to life in leading roles such as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Blousey in Bugsy Malone, earning praise for her expressive performances. One of her fondest early memories is playing Nancy in Oliver! at just eleven years old. Now, as she continues to grow within Sherborne’s vibrant performing arts community, Alma’s natural talent and enthusiasm promise an exciting future both in the spotlight and beyond it. |

Off stage, Alma’s curiosity and intellect take centre stage. Though she insists she’s never had a favourite subject, her love of languages has remained a constant. She is currently studying French and Latin for GCSE, relishing the challenge of translation and the way languages open new windows onto the world.

As a member of the Scholars Group, Alma engages deeply with ideas beyond the classroom. She enjoys the talks and lectures from visiting speakers and teachers, exploring topics that stretch her imagination and encourage debate. Right now, she is working on a creative project for the Cape Farewell Exhibition in our onsite gallery (The Wirth Gallery), an opportunity that blends art, research, and environmental awareness. |
